Body-shaming has become an ever-increasing issue on the internet and one TikTok user’s sad story about real-life body shaming has resonated with many people.
It didn’t take long for her followers to stand by Dalia’s side after a shocking incident with a tattoo artist who she first met in a public space.
Tiktok User Asks If She’s Just ‘Being Dramatic’
On April 18, 2022, TikTok user @senoracabrona whose first name is Dalia, asked her followers a simple question: “I need to know if I’m being dramatic.”

What could the young woman be worried about? It all started when she was approached by a tattoo artist while she was working out at a local gym. He handed her his card after seeing her tattoos and told her to give him a call.
Dalio looked up the artist’s reputation and decided to have some desired tattoo work done on her stomach.
The Visit Did NOT Go As Planned

Because the tattoo was going to cover much of her stomach, only Dalia’s nipples were covered when she was laying back in the parlor chair.
It was at this point the tattoo artist she met at the gym started to make inappropriate comments about her body.
The Situation Quickly Turned Into A Fat-Shaming Session

The tattoo artist was soon commenting on how he believed her body was asymmetrical. He then turned to her breasts, making further inappropriate comments that made her feel very uncomfortable.
When the tattoo artist made one final comment, Dalia knew it was time to immediately leave his shop.
The Comment That Sent Her Fleeing

“I turn around and he goes, ‘Oh I get why I see you at the gym all the time. You’ve got back rolls.'”
It was that comment that finally led to Dalia calling it quits with the creepy tattoo artist. She collected her things and knew the partially completed work wouldn’t be completed at that tattoo parlor. “I got up and I paid him and I left.”
Dalia Defended Her Decision To Pay For The Partial Work
Following the fat-shaming incident, Dalia defended her decision to pay for the partial work, despite the tattoo artists’ completely unprofessional demeanor.
According to Dalia, her size difference from the artist and the isolated garage-based shop where he worked made her feel that she could be in danger if she didn’t pay before quickly leaving.
That Tattoo Artist Community Comes To Her Aid
Dalia posted a follow-up about her experience and the behavior of the first tattoo artist angered others in the community. Soon Dalia was receiving offers to have the tattoo work on her stomach completed.
Dalia told Bored Panda that she accepted an offer from an artist named Paula, “I’m excited to see how it finishes, but overall I’m happy I stopped him when I did so I could get it completed by someone who respected me,” Dalia explained.
